Instant scrapbook

I love fiddling with my mobile and trying out photo editors. There just soo many of them. One that came with my xperia z is PicsArt. It's very easy to use.

Last week my son had to do some little project for school where he had to submit his photos from birth to recent ones and wrote the milestones. We decided to make digital scrapbook type but there was not enough time, so we used this instant one on PicsArt. And it's awesome. We print them out and it's perfect.

Here what we made:

Ordinary things

Taken this photo with my xperia Z and edit it on aviary. Yes, it's still my favorite editor on Android right now.

This was an abandoned godown next door. Now the owner finally decided to build something on the land and this godown will have to go.

I used to imagine there must be lots of scary creatures inside x_x

Till we meet again

So here we stand, in our secret place
With a sound of the crowd so far away
And you take my hand and it feels like home
We both understand it's where we belong

So how do I say? Do I say goodbye?
We both have our dreams, We both wanna fly
So let's take tonight to carry us through the lonely times

I'll always look back,
As I walk away
Its where we , Will last for eternity
And all of our tears will be lost in the rain
When I find my way back to your arms again
But until that day you know you are
The queen of my heart

So let's take tonight
and never let go
While dancing we'll kiss like there's no tomorrow

As the stars sparkle down
like a diamond ring
I'll treasure this moment
Till we meet again

But no matter how far
Or where you may be
I just close my eyes
And you're in my dreams
And there you will be
Until we meet

Mobile Camera Apps

This picture was taken from the view point of Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India. I took this using Samsung galaxy tab 2, panoramic setting and edited using aviary. I love aviary, it makes mobile editing a bliss.

Kaziranga range from 1st View Point

This trip was the 1st time for me. We spend the night at IORA, a new hotel and resort.  We went on 25th Dec and upon arrival the receptionist told us that there will be a children x-mas party. Great!! the boys were super excited about it. Apparently there were quite lots of children that day.

Xmas Tree at Iora

Anyway, they had a nice time playing musical chair, blind fold, etc and got a packet of chocolates from "Santa", plus mini treats!!

Mini Treats...yummm

While the boys were playing, I was trying out this Pudding Camera on my Galaxy Tab. It's nice app, I must say.

Vegetable Hakka Noodle - It's Indianized Chinese Noodle ^_*

Cheese Balls

You get to choose the camera and the effect, and there you are..an instant photographer. Been using it quite sometime now, esp. when I'm too lazy to do some editing =,=

Until then...

Love is like a flower...or so they said

Love is like a beautiful flower which I may not touch, but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same

Love is the answer, and you know that for sure
Love is a flower, you've got to let it grow

I've wanted to try water drop photography  but didn't get the time until the other day when there was no electricity in the house but the sun shines brightly. Didn't want to waste the natural light which shined through my kitchen window, I took a saucepan and put it under the tab, collected my tripod and started clicking the drops.

All photos are edited using Picasa 3 ^^

If you want to learn about waterdrop photography, here's a  VIDEO TUTORIAL  by Gavin Hoey , which basically I followed.
